The World of Spirits Virtual Expo is a pioneering virtual Expo and symposium designed to replicate a real conference and exhibition event, complete with reception zone, press room, networking lounge, exhibition halls and auditorium within three key areas: the Exhibition Hall, Knowledge Hub and Experience Hub.
WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE AND HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
The World of Spirits Virtual Expo is a week-long live event scheduled for 8-14 March 2021, with two separate experiences for trade and consumers presented simultaneously on our cutting edge virtual platform.
After the live event, visitors will still be able to access material and downloads and exhibitors can continue to receive visitor analytics across the entire period.
WHAT’S THE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM?
The inaugural World of Spirits Virtual Expo is being driven by a long-established 5-star rated virtual event platform. The well-proven technology allows the events owner (Moodie Davitt Virtual Expo Company) to leverage flexible virtual space to customise exhibitor booths, offer on-demand content, provide chat forums and generate optimal prospect engagement.
The secure, cloud-based platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services in Germany – complying to strong data privacy laws and is fully GDPR compliant. The system is ISO 27001 Information Security Management Certified, which guarantees exhibitors and visitors a secure event experience and complies with federal, state, and international privacy and security laws using a proven cybersecurity methodology.
DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL ANY SOFTWARE TO BE ABLE TO
ATTEND THIS EVENT?
No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate in the Expo. You only need to have access to the Internet.
AS A TRADE OR CONSUMER VISITOR WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE WORLD OF SPIRITS VIRTUAL EXPO?
Well, firstly, you won’t need to spend a cent getting there. No travel, no hotels, no entertainment (though we think you’ll find it fun), no taxis. No stress, and no lost time on trains, taxis, flights. Oh, and entry is free!
Yes, the only charge is for sponsors and exhibitors and even their rates are highly accessible. You’ll be able to visit every exhibitor’s stand; click on promotional material and videos to view their latest products; and even enter a chat room during the entire live show.
WORLD OF SPIRITS ELEMENTS
The World of Spirits Expo will provide a combination of educational and conference elements arranged across three key areas.
The Exhibition Hall will feature a variety of stands where exhibitors can showcase products and services to both a consumer and trade audience. Online visitors (buyers and consumers) will be able to view video, read and download literature and chat with exhibitors in real time. The trade audience will be able to view keynote presentations and network with other visiting delegates.
The Knowledge Hub is where some of the industry’s leading names will host a curated series of presentations, discussions and debates covering the most important and fascinating topics in spirits. We’ve got some outstanding speakers lined up already and, again, visitors will be able to watch and listen without leaving their desk (or sofa).
The Experience Hub in home to a number of exciting installations designed to help visitors discover, learn and even taste. These pop-up bars and lounges will host intimate masterclasses, demonstrations and new product launches, Q&As with leading drinks experts and authors, as well as takeovers from the world’s best bars.
